Reinier Wolters is a partner at Citius Advocaten. He specialises in labour migration and immigration law as well as labour law. He advises national and international companies and employees as well as private individuals on employment law issues, often with cross-border aspects in which residence and work permits also play a role, and he takes care of the applications for such permits for his clients.
Reinier studied law in Amsterdam and was sworn in as a lawyer in 2008. He has worked at a boutique firm where he learned the ropes of the labour migration practice and at a medium-sized firm that focuses on the corporate market.
Reinier is a member of the Netherlands Employment Lawyers Association (VAAN) and the Employment Lawyers Association (VvA) and is registered as an employment law specialist in the Register of Legal Practice Areas of the Netherlands Bar Association. He is also a member of the Working Group on Legal Aid in Immigration Cases (WRV). In 2016, he successfully completed the post-academic specialisation course in employment law at the Grotius Academy.
